KIDS CLONE OHV MOTOR 5.5
Kids class: 250# kart and driver. Age 6 to 13
If we get enough karts, we will split this class by age and weight: 6 to 10 and 10 to 13
weight???
This motor will run the stock muffler.
There will be a $175.00 claim on the motor. You keep your chain guard, clutch and
throttle cable.
Your child must run in this class to claim a motor. You can claim only two motors per
year.
No faring in this class.
Must run a shoe clutch only.
You may mount the fuel tank on the motor or the floor.
There maybe some changes coming for the kids class.

STOCK CLONE CLASS ENGINES
These rules describe the specifications for Stock Class Engines. All parts must be factory
production parts unless otherwise specified in this manual. No machining or alteration of
parts is permitted unless specifically noted. All parts are subject to be compared to known
stock parts. No reading between the lines. If it not in the rules, it must remain, stock.
UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED ENGINE WILL BE TECHED AS RACED. Additional rules
may be added as WKA moves forward with this program.
1. Minimum kart and driver weight: 350 lbs., 375 lbs, 400 lbs. Must have 5 karts in each
weight group. If less than 5, classes will be combined and scored separately.
2. Fuel: Gasoline only.
3. Tires: Burris only
4. Clutches: Must be a shoe type clutch. Any drum clutch
allowed. No disc clutches will be allowed.
5. Fuel tank: Can be floor mounted or can be on engine.
6. Carburetor: Huayi, or Rui*ing types allowed. All stock carb gaskets must be present.
Choke assembly must be functioning. Choke bore must be as cast. Venturi: 0.615” No-
Go. Back carb bore: 0.751” No-Go. Emulsion tube must remain stock 0.064” No-Go.
Main jet: 0.042’ No-Go. Low speed idle jet 0.019’ No-Go.
7. Fuel Pump: Any pulsed type fuel pump is allowed. Fuel pump must be pulsed from the
valve cover. *Any other way to pulse must be approved by the WKA Tech Official for the
race weekend.
8. Air Filter: Any air filter allowed. After market air filter adapters are allowed. Maximum
length: 1.375”.
9 Block: Block must remain stock. Maximum bore is 2.685”. Stroke is 2.123” plus or minus
0.005”.
10. Cylinder Head: No porting, grinding or modification. Valve seats have two angles:
single 4° bottom and single 30° top. Head gasket must be stock configuration. Combustion
chamber volume minimum: 26.5cc.
11. Valve Train: Valve train will remain stock. No polishing. No grinding. No alterations.
Stock 1:1 ratio OEM rocker arms only. Stock valve springs only. Maximum wire diameter is .
0705”. Maximum spring pressure is 10.8 lbs. at an installed height of 0.850”.
12. Rod: Stock rod only; no modifications.
13. Crankshaft: Stock crankshaft only; no modifications.
14. Piston and Rings: Stock piston and rings only.
15. Camshaft: Camshaft must be stock. Maximum running lift on exhaust is 0.242” taken
on valve spring retainer with zero lash. Maximum running lift on intake is 0.238” taken on
valve spring retainer with zero lash.
16 Fly wheel and Ignition: Flywheel and ignition coil must be stock. NO alterations, NO
machining. Timing must be stock with stock flywheel key. Plastic fins must remain stock.
17. Header Pipe and Muffler: Maximum length on header and muffler is 14” and minimum
is 10”. Header must be single stage maximum 0.750” outside diameter, 0.635 ID inside
measurement. Muffler must be the Weiner type, part #89966. Muffler may be welded onto
end of header pipe or screwed on, or will be a track spec header, single stage 750
maximum I.D., 14” long maximum, 10” minimum or similar. All headers subject to tech
approval.
18 Starter: Pull starter must be present and remain stock. Pull starter may be rotated for a
better cranking angle. Electrical starter optional.
19. Oil Catch Can: Engine oil recovery system mandatory.
20. Oil Sensor: Oil sensor may be removed.
21. Governor: Governor and governor components are non-tech.
